Make your business easier to find, understand, and choose.

I find where customers drop off between looking you up and calling you, then fix it: the website, the Google profile, reviews, follow-up and tracking. One person from diagnosis to done.

See what is getting in the way.

A scan of performance, SEO, content, tracking and conversion signals. It returns a grade for each and the two or three findings worth fixing first.

The scanner reads the site.
I read the business.

The scanner sees what a crawler can reach. It cannot follow an inquiry through your inbox or explain why a competitor is easier to choose. That read is manual. It is where the work starts.

The first read / business, systems, current marketingAssembled example
Hours & location

The profile, website and relevant directories tell the same story.

Consistent
Reviews

Recent work is not reflected in the public review record.

Needs attention
Business profile

The listing sends a customer to a form where they expect a call.

Disconnected
Website

A booking platform address is standing in for the business website.

Rented ground
Structured data

The site does not clearly identify the business for search systems.

Missing
AI answers

Competitors appear in relevant answers. The business is absent.

Visibility gap
Tracking

Analytics is installed, but the actions that matter are not configured.

Incomplete
Follow-up

Inquiries arrive in separate inboxes without a shared next step.

Disconnected

The symptom is not
the source.

The phone is quieter. Good customers stopped showing up. Before buying another campaign, find where the path breaks.

The leak / Found

The right customer never sees you.

The work is good. The information around it is incomplete. Search, maps and AI answers have little to go on, so the path ends before it starts.

What I inspect
  • Check the business profile and local listings.
  • Read the service pages against the searches that matter.
  • Compare how the business appears in relevant AI answers.
The job: Visibility
The leak / Understood

They arrive. The message does not land.

A customer should not have to decode what you do. When the page leads with vague claims or leaves the offer buried, the visitor does the work. Then they leave.

What I inspect
  • Name the customer, the problem and the offer.
  • Make the important details easy to find.
  • Give each page a clear next step.
The job: Clarity
The leak / Chosen

They understand it. They choose someone else.

Being considered is not the same as being trusted. A dated site, thin proof or a difficult booking flow can put doubt between the visit and the decision.

What I inspect
  • Use evidence you can trace to its source.
  • Remove friction from calls, forms and booking.
  • Make the reason to choose you concrete.
The job: Trust
The leak / Followed up

The inquiry lands. The connection goes cold.

A form submission is not a finished handoff. If the message waits in an inbox with no owner and no next action, the marketing did its part and the system lost the thread.

What I inspect
  • Join inquiries to their source.
  • Assign an owner and a next step.
  • Test the response and the follow-up path.
The job: Continuity

A few recent examples.
Every number from a named system.

Not case studies written after the fact. Every figure is sourced to the system that reported it, with the screens to check it yourself in the case studies. Clients stay unnamed until they say otherwise.

A software product, equine industry

Case 01

First-time downloads, search impressions and active subscription plans all moved over the last 90 days, each verified against Search Console or App Store Connect. No ad spend ran in the window.

A neighborhood bar, Philadelphia

Case 02

Profile impressions, direction requests and mobile search visibility all moved, verified against Google Business Profile, plus organic search, AI-crawler traffic and a fresh local map rank scan.

The person who scopes it is the person who builds it.

Scope, build and accountability sit with one person. When something is wrong, you are already talking to whoever can fix it.

01

Who scopes it

I diagnose it and I write the scope. Nothing gets built before that is agreed in writing.

02

Who builds it

I work on the site, the listings, the tracking and the words.

03

When it breaks

You reach me directly. I already know the work.

04

What you keep

The audit either way. Accounts and data in your name, per the agreement.

No one can guarantee a number one ranking. In 2026, the promise is the tell.

I can put readable, consistent information in front of the systems that decide. I can show you what changed. The verdict belongs to somebody else.

What I control What nobody controls

How the site is built and what it says.

Google’s ranking decisions.

The accuracy of listings and public information.

Which businesses an AI answer names.

Structured data and the content a crawler can read.

The reach a platform gives a post.

The inquiry path and the follow-up process.

Whether a customer is ready to act.

Measurement that is checked before it is trusted.

What a competitor decides to spend.

Joe Pfender.
Hands on the work.

I have worked inside agencies and on in-house marketing and sales teams, building websites, campaigns, measurement and the processes behind them.

I started Pfender Marketing Co. to bring that range directly to owners and founders who make the decisions themselves. The shop is new. I am not.

The work is AI-augmented and human-led. The tools carry the volume. The judgment, the scope and the decision about what is worth building stay with me.

“When I am a fit, you work with me from diagnosis through implementation. When I am not, I will say so.”

Tell me what you want fixed.

I answer my own email. The audit is yours to keep either way.
